About the Role:

As Grant Operations Coordinator
, you’ll play a key role in delivering our grant programmes—supporting grassroots and national charities that keep pets in loving homes and funding rescue centre support and fostering for those who are in need. From assessing applications and managing funding cycles to building relationships and promoting impact, your work will support thousands of pets and people across the UK.

The successful candidate will join on a 9-month fixed term contract as maternity cover. This role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage end-to-end grant processes with care and precision
  • Build strong relationships with charities and internal teams
  • Ensure funding aligns with our mission and values
  • Represent the Foundation at events and meetings
  • Help strengthen the future of pet welfare through strategic non-financial support
What we’re looking for:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence with financial and impact evaluation
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for animal welfare
  • Experience in grant-making or charity operations (desirable)
  • A clean UK driving licence
