Are you passionate about developing young people, supporting exciting events, and members to make a real difference?

Lincolnshire Young Farmers is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated County Development Officer to help lead and develop one of the UK's largest and most active County Federations.

About the Role

As County Development Officer, you'll be at the heart of everything we do. Working closely with our County Officers, members and clubs, you'll assist with events and competitions, support governance, oversee communications, champion safeguarding, and help create opportunities for over 600 members across 17 clubs.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. From supporting county events and club members to building partnerships and promoting Young Farmers across Lincolnshire, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation.

What You'll Do
  • Support organising committees with county events, competitions and activities.
  • Support clubs, members and County Officers.
  • Manage communications, membership administration and governance.
  • Lead safeguarding and ensure compliance across the Federation.
  • Build relationships with sponsors, partners and stakeholders.
  • Line manages a small staff team and support club development.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident working with volunteers and young people.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Passionate about supporting the development of others.
  • Flexible and willing to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.

Experience with in Young Farmers, membership organisations or the rural sector would be an advantage, but enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude are just as important.

Location:

Lincolnshire Showground, with travel across the county.

Hours:

Approximately 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.

Salary:
Dependent on experience
