This role is based in a low secure female ward for young people aged 13 to 18 with complex care needs. As a CAMHS Nurse, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing outstanding care to young people aged 13 to 18 with complex care needs.
• Managing risks related to self-harm and aggression, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users.
• Collaborating with a team of HCAs and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans.
• Engaging with patients in therapeutic activities to support their mental health recovery.
• Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the NMC standards and organisational policies.

Requirements of the CAMHS Nurse:

• A degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
• Demonstrated experience working as a Mental Health Nurse, ideally within a CAMHS setting.
• NMC registration, showcasing your commitment to maintaining professional competence.
