We are looking for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join the leadership team within the Heart Centre, acute cardiology ward. You will support the clinical team in close liaison with the Ward Manager and Deputy, developing specialist skills and delivering high quality patient care. As a credible and professional role model you will foster innovation, evidence‑based practice and support staff to achieve their maximum potential in line with the "Proud to Care" initiative.

• Work as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse within a multidisciplinary team, delivering, monitoring and evaluating current care.
• Participate in the development of new ways of working and practices, both clinical and administrative, to enhance service quality.
• Manage clinical areas on a shift basis, assessing care needs, and developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care.
• Act as a professional role model, encouraging and empowering staff to grow personally and professionally.
• Support innovation and evidence‑based nursing practice through professional leadership and liaison with the Ward Manager.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Minimum 3 years experience in cardiology.
• Evidence of completion of an Acute Cardiac Care course.
• 12 months of leadership experience.
• Evidence of teaching experience.
