Youllbe working
42 hoursper week, across days,nightsandalternate weekends, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care. Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Cygnet St Augustines is a 32 bed specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation (level
2) for men. Our fantastic facilities and multi-disciplinary treatment programme are designed to assist individuals with their return to community living. Those placed with us often come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or are stepping down from secure settings.

• Lead an allocated team of nurses & support workers
• Ensure care & associated duties are allocated effectively & within team members competence
• Supervise junior staff &, leading by example, teach & guide them
• Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit & improve quality
• Safeguard & promote the wellbeing of service users
• Manage medication
• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with service users, relatives & other healthcare professionals
• Be responsible for the co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation of individual patient programmes of care.

• An experienced RMN with a current Pin Number, youll have Excellent people management skills & leadership qualities
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads
• The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 & an understanding of the latest nursing practices
• A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage & reduce risk
• Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence
• The ability to act as a role model, demonstrating a positive attitude towards service users, their families, visitors & others.
