Senior Valuation Surveyor​/Associate Director; Leadership

Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded property consultancy in the search for a Senior Valuation Surveyor / Associate Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join a successful valuation team and take on greater responsibility within the business. The position offers a genuine leadership opportunity whilst remaining actively involved in fee-earning valuation work across a broad range of commercial property assets.

Working closely with senior management, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering valuation instructions, developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the valuation service.

The Opportunity

• Undertake commercial property valuations and development appraisals across a wide range of asset classes.
• Manage valuation instructions from initial enquiry and quotation through to inspection, reporting and completion.
• Deliver valuations for loan security, acquisition, accounts and other professional purposes.
• Maintain and develop relationships with lenders, professional contacts and key clients.
• Manage a varied valuation workload, ensuring instructions are delivered to the highest technical standards and within agreed timescales.
• Support the ongoing development of the valuation service and contribute towards its future growth.
• Assist with compliance matters including RICS Valuer Registration and professional standards requirements.
• Mentor and support graduates and APC candidates working towards qualification.
• Work closely with senior leadership and play an influential role within the wider business.
• Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as your career progresses.

About You

• MRICS qualified Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer.
• Proven commercial valuation experience across a range of commercial property sectors.
• Experience undertaking valuations for loan security, acquisition, financial reporting and other professional purposes.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodology, Red Book requirements and professional standards.
• Comfortable managing instructions independently from commencement through to completion.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Experience supporting junior team members or APC candidates would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded, organised and self-motivated.
• Full UK driving licence.
