This is a unique role working in a Special Education Needs setting in a dedicated site. Reporting to the Chef Manager, the successful candidate will help feed between 100 and 150 pupils a day, giving you the opportunity to build good relationships with staff and students.

Working 20 hours per week, no weekends and no school holidays.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We need a friendly, hard‑working, approachable team member to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service. Tasks will include preparing food and snacks, ensuring the kitchen and restaurant areas are clean and tidy, serving food to our students and completing food safety training.

You should be passionate about delivering an efficient service to our students while maintaining great customer service and high food safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience in an education catering setting desirable, however training is available for the right candidate.
