Pay and Hours

Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexible options for those wishing to work as few as 12 hours.

We will schedule work within the following availability windows:

• Tue: 16:00 – 22:00
• Wed: 15:45 – 22:00
• Thu: 15:00 – 22:00
• Fri: 15:00 – 22:00

We provide three weeks' notice of exact shift times and support flexibility where possible.

• Know your customers and deliver passionate and proud service.
• All product knowledge and service delivery.
• Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
• Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
• Make decisions to meet customers' needs at the right time.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand store performance and contribute to service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and drive profit.
• Handle product care to maintain quality.
• Actively embody Tesco values and policies, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Accept deliveries into the store when required.
