Global Business Development Manager / Sales Manager
Hybrid – Based Near Stoke‑on‑Trent Up to £65,000 + Commission + Benefits
A fast‑growing global manufacturer in the consumer products sector is seeking an ambitious Global Business Development Manager to drive new business across international markets. This newly created role focuses on international market expansion, distributor acquisition, OEM/ODM partnerships and high‑value commercial sales.
If you have a strong background in international sales, export development, distributor networks or global commercial strategy, this role offers exceptional scope to grow and make a significant impact.
The Role
* Identify and target new international markets
* Build and convert a strong global new‑business pipeline
* Acquire and onboard new distributors, resellers and commercial partners
* Develop proposals, bids and tenders for high‑value contracts
* Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and long‑term agreements
* Represent the business at international trade shows and sector events
* Report on pipeline growth, performance metrics and new business wins
Essential Experience
* Proven success in international business development and winning new global customers
* Strong track record in export sales, market entry strategy and global commercial development
* Experience identifying, developing and managing international distributor and reseller networks
* Excellent negotiation, closing and relationship‑building skills
* Skilled in generating, qualifying and converting international new‑business pipelines
* Confident networking across diverse cultures and global markets
* Comfortable working to targets, KPIs and operating with a results‑driven mindset
* Willing and able to travel internationally as required
Desirable
* Exposure to OEM/ODM procurement and manufacturing partnerships
* Self‑motivated and comfortable with hybrid working
* Strong commercial awareness and cultural understanding

Salary
£35,000 – £65,000
