Job Overview
Agilent is looking for an Experienced Service Sales Account Manager in the UK to sell service contracts to assigned large key accounts and manage a sales territory. The role is based in the Newcastle, Edinburgh & York areas and part of the Agilent Cross Lab Group.
Responsibilities- Sell service contracts to large key accounts and manage a sales territory with full accountability.
- Maintain and develop existing contracts and generate new business to reach financial targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth by designing tailored enterprise service solutions.
- Provide accurate business forecasts for your territory and take ownership of delivering results.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the full portfolio of services.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships and expand market presence.
- Collaborate with local Field Service organization, Instrument Sales Teams and Service Sales team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of laboratory product/service sales experience, preferably in Agilent markets.
- Strong negotiation skills across all organizational levels, including C‑suite engagement.
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Biopharma, and Chemical Analysis industry is a valued asset.
- Excellent networking and influence skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with CRM systems.
- Valid driving licence.
