Position Overview
ASEL is a provider of bespoke security solutions. They are part of the Argenbright Holdings Group, a privately owned organisation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
LocationTunstall, Stoke on Trent
Hours & Shift Pattern40 hours per week. Shift pattern:
Wed & Thurs 12:00‑20:00, Fri 11:00‑20:00, Sat 10:00‑19:00, Sun 10:30‑16:30
£13.20 per hour
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Retail Security Officer you will provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports, and collaborate with local authorities.
- Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
- Assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work proactively to minimise risk.
- Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
- Complete colleague and contractor searches when required in line with customer company policy.
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
- Provide detailed and legible incident reporting to assist the client and local authorities.
You must have a valid SIA licence. Previous experience in a Retail Security role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
You must have a current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence to apply for this role.
Applicants must be able to provide a full 5‑year checkable work or back‑to‑school history and bring right‑to‑work documents and proof of address to the interview.
