Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for a Relief Dual Service Operative (Security & Cleaning) to join our established team in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area.

You will be part of a forward-thinking team that delivers a high level of customer service, assisting with site cleaning and security and overall running of the centre. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels, and provide flexibility to cover shifts, as and when required.

As a Relief Dual Service Operative, you will be required to support the site cleaning and security teams by being flexible and reliable to cover shifts as required, including working a variety of shifts.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner to the Control Room / Shift Manager / Operations Manager / Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Reacting accordingly to any cleaning needs such as litter picking and reactive cleaning of spillages, mopping and upkeep of centre
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service
• Understanding the needs of our customer, responding accordingly to customer queries and requests and taking appropriate action
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times

• Full 5-year employment checkable history
• Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG
• Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
• Flexible to provide cover when required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Smart appearance and be well-groomed
• Reliable and punctual
