Job Role: Relief Dual Service Operative (Security & Cleaning)

Working Hours: Zero hours

Pay: £13.21 per hour

Location: Longton Exchange Shopping Centre

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,for a Relief Dual Service Operative (Security & Cleaning) to join our established team in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area..

You will be part of a forward thinking team that delivers a high levelof customer service, assisting with the site cleaning and security and overall running of the centre. You must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, have the ability to communicate on all levels and provide flexibility to cover shifts, as and when required.

As a Relief Dual Service Operative, you will be required to support the site cleaning and security teams by being flexible and reliable to cover shifts as required, this includes working a variety of shifts.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as aminimum.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published
  
  Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
• Completing reports by recording observations, information,occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• React accordingly to any cleaning needs such as litter picking and reactive cleaning of spillages, mopping and upkeep of centre.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related resultsas needed
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors tosite, providing a professional and friendly service
• Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times

• Full5-year employment checkable history
• Validfrontline SIA licence DS or SG
• Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
• Flexible to provide cover when required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Smart appearance and be well-groomed
• Reliable and punctual
• Highlevel of enthusiasm and passion
