Overview
We are looking for an experienced and committed Drainage Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of drainage systems, while also carrying out minor plumbing tasks where required. This is a varied and hands-on position that requires strong technical ability, a proactive approach, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections to identify faults within drainage systems, including light plumbing work as needed

Carry out repairs, installations, and replacements of pipes, fixtures, and fittings

Diagnose and clear blockages, ensuring systems operate effectively

Perform planned maintenance and routine servicing of drainage and plumbing systems

Provide professional advice and clear guidance to customers on drainage and plumbing issues

Maintain accurate records of work completed and uphold health and safety standards at all times

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer and/or Plumbing Engineer

Strong working knowledge of drainage systems, associated equipment, and general on-site plumbing

Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve drainage and plumbing issues efficiently

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong communication and customer service skills

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the South East

Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, plus one week per month on an on-call rota (Monday to Sunday, 11:00am-7:00pm or until finish)
