MET TECHNICIAN / STRIP FITTER

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:
  • Salary: £34,000 - £40,000
  • Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Stoke on Trent

Talented and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter needed to join this leading team.

As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilizing modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
  • Follow correct repair techniques and produce work aligned with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.
    • Skills and Qualifications of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and obtained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
  • Previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop is essential, along with being a strong team player and self-motivated to earn bonus hours.
  • Maintain high standards and demonstrate a current knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
