Position: Agency Social Worker - Fostering on-Trent City Council

We have an opportunity for a Fostering Social Worker at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

This is a 6-month assignment initially, paid at £33.30 umbrella.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior (Supervising) Social Worker in the fostering service.
  • The social worker would be responsible for assessing general foster carers.
  • This role is an opportunity to support foster carers to care for children and young people and to ensure they are meeting the regulatory fostering requirements.

We offer £250 new starter bonus and/or £250 referral bonus for your friends/colleagues.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Fully Social Work England registered
  • 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
  • Must have significant experience of working in a Fostering setting including demonstrable experience of undertaking fostering assessments
