Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Directorate: Housing, Regeneration and Operations

Section: Housing Management

Location: City wide

Hours: 37 hours per week

This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

To provide efficient, effective and responsive housing management services within a designated work area, ensuring that services are provided in accordance with agreed policies and priorities of the council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of anti‑social behaviour
  • Identification of tenancy support, advice and referral to appropriate agencies
  • Tenant consultation and participation
  • Recovery of rent arrears and maximisation of rental and other income for all council services
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or have equivalent knowledge, skills and experience of working in social housing
  • Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of Housing Management and experience of visiting, interviewing and advising customers
  • Ability to deal with stressful and emotional situations
  • Self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative
