Overview
The Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, organised Assistant Psychologist to support the coordination and delivery of trauma‑informed (TI) training, projects and care across Inpatient Services. The post involves collating and summarising recommendations for Trust‑wide sharing, including the production of written summaries, presentations and contributing to assessment and evaluation tools.
Responsibilities- Support the coordination and delivery of TI training, projects and care across Inpatient Services.
- Dedicate 1–1.5 days per week to direct and indirect clinical work.
- Collate and summarise recommendations for Trust‑wide sharing, producing reports, presentations and contributing to assessment and evaluation tools.
- Co‑facilitate discussions with colleagues and service users to support development work.
- Receive regular clinical supervision from the AUC Psychology Team and benefit from connections with qualified and trainee psychology peers.
- Strong skills in literature review, analysis, organisation and clear communication.
- Enthusiastic and organised with a collaborative working style.
- Focus on staff wellbeing with easy access to Staff Support & Counselling service and Staff Psychological Wellbeing Hub.

The role is based in Stoke-on-Trent, easily commutable from all parts of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Manchester areas.
