You will play an important role in helping students navigate services and connect with the right support at the right time.
Main Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for students accessing services through the Student Front Door, responding to enquiries, providing information and directing students to appropriate services and appointments.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with relevant support services, ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently and resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across Student Services, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and supporting the effective delivery of services.
- Monitor student engagement using available data and feedback to help identify students who may benefit from additional support, including engagement monitoring for Student Route visa holders.
- Initiate appropriate interventions and referrals, connecting students with relevant support services or academic mentors where additional guidance may be required.
- Facilitate effective communication between students, academic mentors and support teams, ensuring information is shared accurately and interactions are appropriately recorded and followed up.
You will be part of a team committed to creating a supportive, welcoming and inclusive environment where all students can access the assistance they need to succeed. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the University, you will help deliver an excellent student experience and contribute to our values of being Fair and Inclusive, Curious and Daring, Ambitious and Inspirational, and Innovative and Enterprising.
