The Best Connection Group Ltd are looking for Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Stoke
- On
- Trent area.

We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team, specialising in the transportation of timber. If you have a strong work ethic and excellent driving skills, we want to hear from you!

Work will involve completing store deliveries of timber products in various locations. (Usually 1 drop, can be up to 3)

No loading or unloading is required but you will be required to securely strap the load down - training can be provided.

Pay rates are as follows:

Day shifts - £17.69

Days of work for day drivers
- Monday to Friday

An assessment is required prior to commencing work.

• Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport timber products to various locations
• Perform pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and road worthiness
• secure timber loads using ratchet straps to prevent movement during transit
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Perform routine vehicle management checks and report any issues promptly
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on delivery sites
• Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of safety

• Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
• 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rota for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
• Ongoing Assignment

• CPC Driver Qualification Card
• Digi-Card Required
• Class 1 (LGVC+E) licence required
• Max 6 points (No DD/DR)
• On-going assignment
