HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Regular Work, Great Rates!Drivers Today
are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers
for ongoing work with established transport companies in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas

Looking for regular Class 1 driving work without the uncertainty of constantly changing assignments?
We have opportunities available for reliable, experienced drivers who want consistent weekday work, competitive hourly rates and the chance to settle into a long-term assignment

Whether you're experienced in general haulage, trunking or RDC deliveries, we'd love to hear from you!
What's on Offer?- £19.00 per hour – PAYE including holiday pay or LTD
- Monday to Friday – day shifts
- Regular early starts, typically around 06:00
- Long-term, ongoing assignments
- Weekly pay
- General haulage and trunking opportunities
- Nights out may be available, but are not compulsory
- Support from a dedicated local recruitment team
You’ll be carrying out a variety of HGV Class 1 general haulage and trunking duties
, including:
- Driving articulated HGV Class 1 vehicles
- General haulage deliveries and collections
- RDC-to-RDC and depot deliveries
- Curtain-sided trailer work
- Local, regional and longer-distance routes
- Trailer checks and securing loads
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
You’ll need:
- A valid HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- General haulage or trunking experience preferred
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations
- Reliable timekeeping and a professional attitude
