Role Description The Warehouse Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Cheadle. This role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming stock, ensuring all items are accurately checked and recorded. The Warehouse Specialist will prepare and pack orders for shipment, support shipping and receiving activities, and maintain inventory control through regular counts and updates. Day-to-day tasks include operating basic warehouse equipment (such as pallet jacks), keeping storage areas clean and orderly, and collaborating with the team to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving to manage incoming and outgoing stock and documentation.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Packing to prepare customer orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Unloading and Pallet Jack operation to handle goods safely and move stock within the warehouse.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control to track, count, and reconcile stock levels accurately.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and order management systems.
  • Ability to lift and move packages safely and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
