Inventory Operator Stoke on Trent Mon-Fri, , 37.5 hours

At DSV, we keep global supply chains moving. As an Inventory Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure we deliver exceptional service to our customers.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system
  • Conducting cycle counts and stock checks
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
  • Supporting inventory audits and compliance activities
  • Monitoring stock movements and system transactions
  • Producing inventory reports and analysing stock data
  • Working closely with warehouse, operational, and customer service teams
  • Following all health, safety, and quality procedures
What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Import and export freight forwarding experience.
  • Experience across multiple transport modes and industry sectors.
  • Logistics and distribution industry experience.
  • Experience working with operational KPI reporting and performance management.
  • Leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
