The Role
We’re seeking a professional, dependable, and customer‑focused PRN Receptionist to provide coverage across multiple departments within our community, including Administration, Sales, Clinic, and Concierge. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, can adapt quickly, and values flexibility. Opportunities for coverage typically come with advance notice; however, occasional short‑notice needs may occur.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front desk coverage, warmly welcoming residents, guests, families, and staff
- Manage multiline phones, direct calls, and relay messages professionally
- Assist with check‑ins, visitor coordination, and general inquiries
- Support administrative tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, email communication, and basic document use
- Maintain a polished, professional presence and exceptional customer service
- Float between departments as needed to support coverage gaps
- Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of professional secretarial skills including typing, word‑processing, data entry (Outlook, Word, Excel, basic level)
- Knowledge of photocopy and use of other office equipment (Copy / Fax Machines)
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal presence
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable learning and adapting to different department processes
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 months experience in secretarial/office environment
