Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer
This Sr. Reliability Engineer supports the reliability, availability, and operational performance of data center cooling systems from commissioning through field operation. The role combines customer-facing reliability support, RCM, predictive maintenance (PdM), operational-data analytics, and system reliability modeling to reduce risk and improve uptime.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Partner with customers, Service, Commissioning, Engineering, Controls, and Quality to address reliability concerns, field issues, and operational needs.
- Lead RCM and PdM activities, including asset criticality, failure-mode evaluation, FRACAS, root-cause analysis, and preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Analyze operational, alarm, maintenance, commissioning, warranty, and field data to identify degradation, recurring failures, and emerging reliability risks.
- Collect and utilize physics-based data from the Digital Twin, including what-if operating scenarios, to assess system health and support reliability analysis and PdM decisions.
- Utilize Weibull and Block Sim to simulate equipment and system reliability, availability, MTBF, MTTR, downtime, failure behavior, and N+X redundancy/failover performance.
- Evaluate system redundancy and N+X configurations, including single-point failures, failover behavior, backup capacity, recovery performance, and overall system availability.
- Develop Power BI reliability dashboards and track key metrics including availability, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, repeat failures, alarms, and asset health.
- Perform alarm rationalization and alarm analytics, linking alarms to failure modes, consequences, response priorities, and diagnostics.
- Translate customer, field, and reliability insights into actionable recommendations for maintenance, diagnostics, commissioning, service procedures, controls, and product design.
