Physical Therapist - PRN

Role Overview

Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, aiming to maximize physical independence. Conducts evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability after illness or injury. Serves patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Oversees care for patients treated by physical therapist assistants and may guide and orient assigned staff.

• Deliver tailored physical therapy interventions to promote recovery and mobility.
• Perform assessments and apply treatment modalities to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide care for a broad age range and coordinate with therapy assistants.
• Potentially mentor and guide team members to ensure quality care.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or DPT).
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges.
• Maintain current CEUs per state requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
• Preferred two years of relevant work experience.
