Position Summary

Monitors the distribution and management of the weekly and monthly production schedules for operations. Makes priority decisions regarding production maintenance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Establishes and manages daily, weekly, and monthly production scheduling processes for the site and adjusts schedules accordingly to meet site goals and objectives.
  • Creates and releases production orders and collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics in prioritizing and expediting orders.
  • Provides data for Key Performance Metrics and works with management to optimize efficiency to meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Ensures timely communication to operations and management regarding schedule adjustments and delays to align with priorities.
  • Investigates scope of requests and determines scheduling status and feasibility.
  • Monitors material usage, inventory turns, and levels to manage inventory effectively.
  • Coordinates transfer of materials to fulfill interplant and service requirements on schedule.
  • Performs some lead responsibilities, including training, assigning, reviewing work, providing guidance, and overseeing workflow.
  • Acts as a liaison between Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, and Sales departments. Supports Material and Buyer functions as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Job Skills Requirements
    • Advanced training and experience with site production scheduling, Supply Chain principles, and SOPs.
    • Highly skilled in data analysis, database management, and MRP systems.
    • Excellent communication skills across functional areas.
    • Self-directed, disciplined, and highly organized with effective decision-making skills.
    • Work environment is approximately 70% Office and 30% Warehouse.
    • Fluent in English and the primary language of the area of responsibility.
    Educational Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience.

    Experience Requirements
    • Minimum of five years' experience as a Scheduler/Planner.
    • Minimum of four years' experience in materials/logistics management or related field.
