Overview
Base pay range: $23.56/hr - $44.78/hr securitas Technology is a world-leading provider of integrated security solutions. We are seeking an Installation Technician to provide service on ST products at customer sites, handling post-installation problems and special project work as needed.
Responsibilities- Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
- Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces, including drilling, trenching and aerial runs.
- Complete wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet customer and contractual requirements.
- Interface with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager on on-site scheduling and timely equipment delivery.
- Test newly installed systems and component devices to ensure operation.
- Troubleshoot new system installations to ensure proper functioning and compliance with local, county, state, or federal codes and requirements.
- Present a professional image in personal appearance and vehicle presentation.
- Perform work safely and within specified cost limits.
- Promote and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
- Maintain company propriety and documentation per policies; handle proprietary information per guidelines; adhere to safety requirements.
- Keep abreast of product and technology changes; attend and complete training programs as requested.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
- NICET Certification preferred
- IP Video and IT experience preferred
- Ability to climb ladders up to 24 ft and lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work on-call on a rotational basis for after-hours and weekend emergency calls
- Valid state driver’s license without restrictions
