Note: This is a temporary day-to-day position.

• Under general supervision, maintains behavioral discipline and focuses on the special needs of students being transported on DeKalb County School District (DCSD) buses.
• Oversees students and/or special education students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions.
• Enforces rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport.
• Ensures the safety of special education students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Please have your institution/school send your transcript electronically to officialtranscripts.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of 2-way radio communication is preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

• Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
