Senior Lunchtime Supervisor (with setting up) – Walton Priory Middle School

Walton Priory Middle School is seeking a reliable and professional Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to start in January. The post holder will work under the direction of senior staff and will monitor the safety and behaviour of children during the school lunch break. They will also assign duties to other lunchtime supervisors and supervise their work.

Hours: 12:00 – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, a total of 12.5 hours a week (term time only). This is a permanent role. Salary:
Grade 3 – £25,185 p.a. (paid over 12 months).

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise children during the lunch break to ensure safety and appropriate behaviour.
• Allocate duties to other lunchtime supervisors and provide guidance and support.
• Respond to incidents and implement any required safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of supervision activities and incidents.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in a school setting, preferably in a supervisory catering role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and safeguarding policy compliance.
