Location: Stonecrest
Role
Biomedical Equipment Technician I responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing basic biomedical equipment on-site at a healthcare facility. Primary objective s include ensuring equipment functionality, performing planned maintenance, safety inspections, and supporting customer satisfaction through technical service.
Responsibilities- troubleshooting
- executing repairs
- documenting actions
- maintaining tools and calibration
- collaborating with team members
- an associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, military education, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years servicing electrical, electronic, or mechanical medical equipment
- strong communication skills
- legal work authorization in the U.S.
- formal internship or externship experience
- working with biomedical equipment within hospital environments
- adhering to healthcare safety and regulatory standards
- supporting GE Health Care contracts
onsite in Dublin, GA, with potential for relocation and after-hours or on-call work.
Physical Requirements- manual handling and mobility tasks consistent with technical service roles in healthcare settings.
