Senior Inpatient Coder III - ICD-10 & Data Quality Leader

In this role, you will assign ICD-9/ICD-10 codes for inpatient encounters to support accurate billing and compliant documentation. You will collaborate with clinicians to ensure precise medical records and work with CDI, quality, and patient finances teams to facilitate data extraction and coding integrity. The position emphasizes strong MS-DRG knowledge and adherence to inpatient coding standards. You will contribute to the hospital's revenue integrity and data quality objectives while meeting the physical requirements of the role.

• Assign ICD-9/ICD-10 codes for inpatient encounters
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate documentation for billing
• Support compliant coding and data extraction with CDI, quality, and patient finances teams

• 5+ years inpatient/outpatient coding experience
• Strong MS-DRG knowledge
• Ability to handle physical requirements of the role
