What You’ll Do
** Lock & Hardware Maintenance:
** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on new and existing mechanical, keyless, and pneumatic locks, locking controls, and doors
** Access Control & Keying Systems:
** Install, repair, and service electromagnetic latching systems, card readers, panic hardware, and computerized access control panels to ensure controlled building access
** Key Control & Fabrication:
** Cut, check, and replace keys for wear, rekey cylinders, and establish proper key control policies and master key systems across facilities
** Emergency Service & Diagnostics:
** Respond promptly to emergency lockouts and locking system failures, reading electrical schematics to troubleshoot system drops and wiring faults
** Documentation :
** Log work orders and tracking details into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
What You Need High school diploma or GED required1–3 years of hands-on locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial or institutional environments preferred
Strong working knowledge of security locking systems, pneumatic locks, doors, and low-voltage electrical schematics
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine drive to partner with your teammates
