Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Hold store keys to open and close without management as necessary; assist with and coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes. Open the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on the assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
• Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, evaluating and developing displays, and completing resets and revisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts for all departments and stockroom locations; ensure the outdate program is followed.
• Handle basic department pricing and make daily price changes; display proper signage to support accurate pricing of products and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities (cash report, cash counts, ledgers, bill payment) as requested.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance; request repairs as necessary.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement per policies, and perform stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out method.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment; assist at the pharmacy out window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
• Perform bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.

• Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members, communicating assigned tasks when store management is absent.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Willingness to consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
