We’re looking for a problem-solving accountant who enjoys planning, ensuring things are right and accurate, is great with client communications and embraces technology. You are happy to have video calls or meetings with clients to talk about their businesses.
You are the sort of person who likes to be way ahead of deadlines and thrives on an organised calendar where you know exactly what work needs to be done and when.
You'll work closely with clients, providing technical expertise and support, whilst delivering the required work. You are the sort of person who can hit the ground running with client delivery and are not afraid to ask questions.
- Manage a portfolio of clients with full ownership of their accounting needs:
- Preparation of annual accounts and tax returns
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Management accounts preparation
- Personal tax returns
- Client correspondence and email management
- Monthly director only payrolls
- Lead quarterly strategic review calls using our established frameworks
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client financial performance
- Leverage our technology stack to deliver efficient, high-quality service
- 3+ years of experience working in accounting practice
- Qualified or on your way to being qualified (AAT, ACCA, ICAS etc)
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Natural problem-solver who can figure things out independently
- Enthusiasm for technology and process improvement
- Experience with cloud accounting systems, especially Xero
- Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously

- £28,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
- Part time options available (salary to be pro-rata)
