Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Environment and Infrastructure Business Support Team as an Admin Support Officer.
This is a key supervisory role, responsible for the day-to-day management of a team delivering high quality, customer focused administrative support across the service.
The role- Supervise and support a team of staff, including undertaking annual reviews and supporting development
- Lead, motivate and organise workloads to ensure effective service delivery
- Ensure consistent application of procedures and working practices
- Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on processes and enquiries
- Monitor performance and contribute to continuous improvement
You will also support a range of administrative functions including data analysis, reporting, financial processes and records management.
About you- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong administrative experience and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
This is a hybrid post with a requirement to attend the office up to 60 percent of your working time, which includes weekly travel to support service delivery across other office locations across Aberdeenshire, including Inverurie and Peterhead.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 30/06/2028.
