Overview
As a Senior Care Worker at Clashfarquhar, you will combine hands‑on care with responsibility for supporting staff and maintaining high standards across the service. You will lead by example, ensuring people supported experience dignity, reassurance and consistent, person‑centred care while contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality personal care and emotional support in line with individual care plans
- Act as a role model for care staff, offering guidance and day‑to‑day support
- Support shift coordination and contribute to safe, effective service delivery
- Monitor wellbeing, record observations and elevate concerns appropriately
- Promote dignity, choice and independence at all times
- Work closely with managers to uphold care standards, policies and procedures
You will be an experienced care professional who is confident supporting both people and staff within a care environment. You understand the importance of consistency, reassurance and leadership, and you communicate clearly and calmly. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be registered with SSSC, or be willing to work towards registration. You will also have the ability to complete PDA supervision, PDA medication, SVQ Level 4 and the workplace assessors’ award, supporting the development of staff and maintaining high standards across the service.
