We operate manufacturing and technical facilities across multiple countries. We have an exciting opportunity for a Utility Operator to join our team in Pawcatuck, Connecticut.

Duties include but are not limited to operating a forklift, maintaining and putting away electrical inventory, moving parts, housekeeping, and supporting the assembly floor to help increase the quality level efficiency.

• Put away electrical supplies and keep area neat and clean
• Empty cardboard and wood dumpsters
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
• Assist in preparation of equipment for shipment
• Sort and organize parts on the assembly floor
• Keep assembly floor areas clean and organized
• Assist assembly floor area personnel in any other job deemed necessary by a lead man or supervisor
• Operate power sweeping / washing equipment
• Perform material handling duties as assigned
• Take instruction and direction on work and related work assignments from supervision and or lead man
• Must be willing to assist other employees in all types of extrusion equipment
• Demonstrate the flexibility to work in all departments and on all types of extrusion equipment in a productive and efficient manner
• Work overtime as required to meet the needs of production schedules
• Always a self starter, self sufficient and motivated and strives for improvements

• High school or technical school diploma
• Experience in a Manufacturing Facility
• Fork truck certification
• Ability to follow safety protocol
