at 11:59 PM Eastern TimeDescriptionThe Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join an existing MFM Division of eight full-time faculty members. Applicants looking to develop an academic career in Maternal Fetal Medicine should apply. Stony Brook University Hospital is a tertiary care center with 4,000 deliveries annually. The Division of MFM has an ACGME accredited MFM Fellowship with 2 fellows per year.
This is a dynamic department with a large clinical volume, modern Women and Infant's Hospital facilities, and an AIUM accredited state-of-the‑art ultrasound unit. Opportunities for clinical and basic research are expanded by our affiliation with research facilities at Cold Spring Harbor and Brookhaven National Research Laboratories.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have an MD (or foreign equivalent). Be Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Board certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine, and have a New York State license or be eligible for one.
Preferred QualificationsA background in prenatal diagnosis / genetics is preferred.
