Responsibilities

Lead teachers coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes, plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities, and provide a safe environment. They work directly with children and parents daily to deliver quality customer service.

Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous experience (preferred)
  • Completed state-required pre‑service training
  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with children, parents, and staff
  • Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multitasking
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and handling children safely (infants and young toddlers)
  • Eligibility for a background check
