As a Fitness Trainer, you will operate the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). These responsibilities include:

• Creating a class schedule for members, including Orientation and DYOP (Develop Your Own Program).
• Proactively engaging members on the club floor, instructing them on safe equipment use, and providing support as needed.
• Promoting the Judgement Free Zone® by connecting with members, offering assistance, and upholding club policies.
• Performing a comprehensive walk of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and addressing issues promptly.
• Performing prospective member calls and tours, assessing membership needs, and offering Trainer services.

• Greet members/guests at entrance and exit, assisting with questions or concerns during check‑in.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Maintain regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and assigned area.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter‑free according to routine cleaning schedule.

• Hourly pay range: $18.00 to $19.50. Planet Fitness reserves the right to pay below or above the posted range based on factors not related to a protected class.

• 6–12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Continual standing and moving throughout the club to accomplish tasks during shift.
• Continual communication in person or on the phone to exchange information during shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Will encounter exposure to cleaning chemicals during shift.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Move self in different positions, including bending and twisting, to accomplish tasks.

Team members are expected to be active participants in health and safety by following all applicable policies and protocols, reporting unsafe conditions or at‑risk behaviors to leadership, and conducting work in a safe manner.
