Test Centre Administrator – Reading, Berkshire UK
The role requires a minimum of 8.5 hours per month, occasional Saturday work, and a pay rate of £13.60 per hour paid monthly.
As a Test Centre Administrator you will provide a secure exam/test delivery environment and exceptional customer service for candidates visiting Pearson VUE Test Centres.
Responsibilities- Welcome, greet, and check‑in customers/test‑taking candidates.
- Comply with all exam testing security and procedures and follow company policies using careful judgement.
- Verify customer/candidate personal identification documents and explain the exam testing process/rules.
- Proctor / invigilate candidates while they complete their exam/test.
- Troubleshoot with internal departments, such as IT, to fix any technical issues in the Test Centre.
- Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards/workstations as necessary.
Friendly and professional team‑player with basic school qualifications in English and Maths.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an advantage.
Flexible to work a variety of shifts Monday through Sunday, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
Capable of remaining still for long periods and escorting candidates to and from the exam/testing room.
