Occupational Therapist

Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Neuro | Stornoway | £35ph Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Neuro service in Stornoway on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT with a background in neurological rehabilitation to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team and make a real difference to patient outcomes.

The Role You will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with neurological conditions, supporting rehabilitation, independence and functional recovery.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a specialist neuro OT caseload
• Complete comprehensive functional and occupational assessments
• Develop and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes
• Support patients to maximise independence in daily activities
• Recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations
• Contribute to discharge planning and rehabilitation goals
• Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports

What we're looking for:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience within neuro rehabilitation
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Experience working within an MDT
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
