Up to £42,000 per year Were recruiting for a Quality Control Lead to join a modern, recently refurbished food manufacturing site in Stornoway. This is a standalone quality role where youll take ownership of product quality, food safety and compliance across the factory floor and office. This is not a desk only quality role. Youll spend a large part of your day in the production environment, working closely with operations and being the first point of contact for quality on site.

The role would suit someone who enjoys being visible in the factory, improving systems and really owning their area of responsibility. Youll be joining a small but well supported site with the opportunity to make a real impact by developing and improving processes, while being backed by a wider quality function. Responsibilities:
Acting as the main on site Quality point of contact for production and management Monitoring critical control points (CCPs), food safety and product quality throughout the manufacturing process Ensuring product specifications and customer standards are met during processing
