Position
Staff Nurse – Stroke Care (Band
6)
Band 6: £43,231 – £52,679 (pro rata) +
Distant Islands Allowance: £1,461 (pro rata)
Permanent post, 15 hours per week, based in Uist & Barra community or Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway. Hours may be spread over 2 or 3 days.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality stroke care and support the stroke team.
- Maintain good communication, organization and time management skills.
- Apply policy, procedures and national targets to support the team.
- NMC Registered Adult Nurse.
- Substantial post‑registration experience in stroke care.
- Degree level education or evidence of relevant experience at band 5 level in a relevant setting.
- Must register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
- Not eligible for relocation expenses.
Remuneration at Band 6 with Distant Islands Allowance. Permanent post.
