As an Operations Assistant based in Stornoway, you’ll be responsible for serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge, driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers, building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries whether that is over the phone or email and processing sales, and performing general warehouse duties including goods in & out, filling paperwork, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising.

This is a Full Time permanent position working 41.5 hours a week:
Monday to Thursday 08.00am-5.00pm, Friday 08.00am-4pm. Alternate Saturdays 09.00am-1pm, paid as overtime.

• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience in sales/retail/warehouse.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).
• A strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team.
