Hours: 60 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 19:00

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Guard to join a security team supporting a developing construction site at the Stornoway Deep Water Terminal. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site security, controlling access, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents.

• Conduct regular site patrols and monitor security risks.
• Control access for vehicles, personnel, and deliveries.
• Ensure only authorised individuals enter restricted areas.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents.
• Maintain accurate incident and activity records.
• Use security systems and communication technology.
• Promote a strong security culture across the site.

• Valid SIA Security Guard Licence (or willingness to complete training, with costs recovered at £36 per month from wages).
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.

This role would suit an SIA-licensed security professional with construction site or industrial security experience, strong access control knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work long shifts in a remote location.
