Town of Stoughton

The Stoughton Public Library seeks an energetic person for the Young Adult/Technology Services Librarian, in a busy, diverse community south of Boston. MLIS/MLS from an ALA accredited Library Master’s Program and at least 3 years’ experience working with children or young adults in a public library are required. Must also be familiar with computer technology, digital collections, and social media.

• Staff supervision
• Development and management of the young adult collection
• Providing a variety of programs
• Detail-oriented work with excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Interaction with young adult population, and comfortable training staff and the public to use computer technology

Annual Salary Range: $59,797.71-$75,016.62 in 10 steps. This is a 35 hour/week, full-time, union, benefited position with day, night and rotating Saturday hours.
