As a Management Trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to prepare you for the role of Store Manager. The program focuses on people management, operations management, and merchandising management. You will work closely with the Store Manager to gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of daily shift operations.

• Assist the Store Manager with daily shift management, including customer relations, inventory control, procedural tasks, paperwork, and visual merchandising.
• Maintain individual and shift sales targets.
• Provide daily shift floor coverage.
• Train Sales Associates.
• Supervise point‑of‑sale (POS) operations.
• Provide security and loss prevention support within the store.
• Maintain company standards regarding personal and store sales/performance metrics.
• Stock shelves and refrigerated coolers.
• Minimize cash and inventory loss while operating within assigned shrink targets.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws related to convenience/food store operations.
• Shadow the Store Manager in day‑to‑day operations.

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Greet customers with a sincere, upbeat greeting.
• Suggest possible purchases and promote specials.
• Assume full responsibility for executing Nouria’s customer service program at the site level.

• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Ensure all site employees are trained on safety policies and procedures and verify compliance.
• Enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations.
• Maintain safety and security of the store and document any incidents.
• Maintain the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program.
• Report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Complete new employee safety orientation for all new or transferred employees.
• Inspect stores in your area of responsibility for hazards and initiate corrective action.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe conditions or work practices.
• Promote rapid return to work for employees under your supervision.

• 1 year of supervisory experience in convenience store, retail, fast‑food, or restaurant operations.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, resourceful, creative, and organized.
• Outgoing personality and approachable demeanor.
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand for at least 8 hours, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Successful completion of certification testing as required.
• Commitment to delivering superior customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Maintain physical appearance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. at times.
• Traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Work prolonged periods standing at a cash register.
