Surgical Technologist

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team on a Per‑Diem basis.

The Surgical Technologist is responsible for aiding the professional nurse or physician in providing patient care to those patients requiring surgical procedures during the operative and immediate post‑operative surgery.

• Prepares the Operating Room for patients.
• Maintains the operating room clean and sterile.
• Passes instruments and other sterile supplies.
• Performs routine inspection of sterile supplies.
• Understands the sterilization process.

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Post‑secondary coursework in central service skills (preferred).
• One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Basic computer skills for email, internal websites, EHR, and online learning tools.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (open documents, change font, save, write a letter).

• Per‑Diem.
